We have a Fiat multifunctional letter opener with magnifying glass and a working pull out tape measure. Complete with it’s original case.
Fiat made this as a celebratory piece marking 60 years of the car brand, and the release of their Dino 2400 Coupé in 1969.
The magnifier end has an image on each side, one of a horseless carriage and the other of the first European petrol car. The Coupé which this piece was made to celebrate was Fiat’s most advanced vehicle to date, so it’s a nice touch (and a bit of a subtle brag!) that they included two previously groundbreaking inventions which were also both ahead of their times.
Very unusual and very rare.
